Description of Actual Services Provided by Your Staff:
i) Carry out detail feasibility study of the proposed irrigation system considering technical, socio-economic, institutional, environmental, agricultural, sustainable etc aspects of the project.
ii) Engineering survey, design and drawing of proposed irrigation system.
iii) Water balance calculations for irrigating areas of above mentioned VDC.
iv) Preparation of design, drawings and report.
v) Collect all necessary agro-economic data required for proper agro-economic analysis of the project.
vi) Collect all the required data for recommendation of institutional sustainability of the system.
vii) Make an economic analysis and test its sensibility.
viii) Prepare implementation schedule based on technical capacity of implementing office, capacity of water users for contribution work and budget availability, etc.
ix) Assess adverse impact due to environmental vulnerability needs to be considered in detail during the study. Possible hazard zones should be identified and the best mitigation measure to be adopted should be specified.
x) Produce innovative approaches so as to support modernization of irrigation system with round the year irrigation services to the water user farmer community.
xi) Produce detailed cost estimate of the project based on approved district rates.
xii) Consult with the local stake holders such as Irrigation water users community representative in order to have a comprehensive view in the type of irrigation system, methods of irrigations and the corresponding cropping calendar to be implemented in future as per the water availability.
xiii) Produce any other data, report, drawing etc. as demanded by the Irrigation Feasibility Study and Research Program during the course of the study.
xiv) Prepare final report including all above mentioned points.
